Sewer Utility District
New residents or businesses must contact the Sewer Utility Office to establish a utility account with the Village. If you would like to set up your account, or have questions about your existing account, please contact us.
Residential and commercial customers are billed on a quarterly basis. The current rate for a single-family residential quarterly bill is $176.00. A 6% late fee will be assessed if the payment is not received by the due date.
Please Note: There is a $35 NSF (Non-Sufficient funds) Fee will be added to the Sewer Utility account for any returned payments.
Approximate billing dates (see statement for exact due date):
Oct., Nov., Dec.: billed late December: due 3rd week of January
Jan., Feb., March: billed late March: due 3rd week of April
April, May, June: billed late June: due 3rd week of July
July, Aug., Sept.: billed late September: due 3rd week of October *** if account balance is not paid in full – remaining balance and penalties will be applied to the property tax bill
Payments:
Cash, checks, money orders, debit or credit cards are all accepted as payment in person at the Salem Lakes Village Hall, located at 9814 Antioch Road (STH 83), Salem, WI 53168. Be sure to include your bill stub and write your account number on your check. There is also an outside drop box located at the north entrance of the main door at Village Hall for after hours payments.
