"General Code" was retained to codify the Town of Salem and the Village of Silver Lake ordinances to create a comprehensive code of ordinances for the Village of Salem Lakes. The Village of Salem Lakes is contracted with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department for traffic enforcement and ordinance violations. If you need to file a complaint, please contact the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department Non-Emergency Dispatch at 262.843.2371. If it is an emergency, dial 911.
Property maintenance complaints should be directed to the Village of Salem Lakes Code Compliance Officer, John Carrier. The most common violations would be trash and debris, junk vehicles, uncut grass and homes in disrepair. He can be reached at 262.843.2313, extension 5675.
