Commissions, Boards & Special Committees
The Village of Salem Lakes has seven (8) Commissions, Boards or Special Committees. Each has specific responsibilities, as detailed in the Village of Salem Lakes Municipal Codes and the Wisconsin State Statutes.
- Fire Commission
- Board of Review
- Park Commission
- Plan Commission
- Board of Appeals
- Library Board
- TID No. 1 Joint Review Board
These Commissions, Boards or Special Committees are established for the purpose of acquiring and studying information in specific areas, then making recommendations to the Village Board on issues. Meeting schedules can be located on the Village Calendar. Agenda's and minutes are also made available on the website.
Appointments are made by the Village Board when terms expire or when there are vacancies due to a resignation.
