Due to the recent resignation, the Village is seeking applicants to fill a vacant Village Trustee position. 

Applicants must reside within Village limits, be at least 18 years of age and be an eligible elector.

Applications will be accepted through September 30th at 4:00pm. Interviews will take place at a Special Village Board meeting on Monday, October 5th at 5:00pm.

The Village of Salem Lakes invited the community to give us their input as part of our zoning update process. Here are the results of our Community Open House and Survey in partnership with vonBriesen and RINKA+.

The Village of Salem Lakes will hold a series of public budget workshops to discuss and review the 2027 annual Budget

The workshops will take place at the Village Hall, 9814 Antioch Rd. Salem WI, 53168 on the following dates:

Thursday, October 1, 2026  5:00 PM

2026 Street & Utilities Improvement Project Construction Update – Week of September 14th     

The following construction activities are anticipated on 2nd Street, 3rd Street, 4th Street, & North Street during the week of September 14th:

• Milling operations (match points and roadways) along the various roadways early in the week.
• Paving of the various roadways later in the week, following the completion of the milling activities.

The Village of Salem Lakes will be undertaking public infrastructure improvements in the Valmar and Yaws subdivisions during 2026. This project is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining and upgrading essential public services and ensuring long-term system reliability.

WHAT: The Village of Salem Lakes passed ordinances that allows ATV/UTV to be driven on VILLAGE MAINTAINED ROADS AND SELECTED COUNTY AND STATE ROADS (35mph or under).
