2026 SPRING ELECTION


Effective immediately, the polling locations for the following wards of the Village of Salem Lakes are hereby established at the following new locations for Spring and General Elections:

Wards 1-6 & 11-13
(previously Silver Lake Village Hall)
Salem Lakes Village Hall, 9814 Antioch Rd, Salem, WI 53192

Wards 7-10
(previously Wilmot Fire Station)
Trevor Fire Station, 11252 254th Ct, Trevor, WI 53179

IN-PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING will take place in the Clerk's Office beginning Tuesday, March 24th between 9am and 4pm on weekdays EXCEPT Friday, April 3rd they will be 9am to 5pm. Remember your Photo ID!

VALMAR & YAWS SUBDIVISION SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION

For this project, the Village of Salem Lakes will ONLY be receiving and accepting bids for the Valmar & Yaws Subdivision Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN.com. Electronic bids will be accepted until 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2026. After the official Bid closing time, the Bids will be opened, reviewed and posted on the QuestCDN.com website. To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of advertisement. 2026 COMMITTEES & COMMISSIONS

The Village is seeking applications for various boards, commissions and committees. If interested, the application can be found on the Village website or in person at Salem Lakes Village Hall. Those wishing to be reappointed will need to submit an application. Appointments will only be considered from applications received. Appointments selected and appointed at the April 21, 2026 Village Board meeting. APPLICATION HERE.

TAX BILLS


The 2nd installment of real estate property taxes, which is due July 31st, must be paid to Kenosha County. The Village of Salem Lakes cannot accept ANY payments for real estate property taxes after January 31st. The 2nd installment can be paid in person at the Kenosha County Center, 19600 75th Street (STH 45 & 50), Bristol, WI, 53104.

ATV/UTV ORDINANCE

WHAT: The Village of Salem Lakes passed an ordinance that went in to affect May 30, 2024 that allows ATV/UTV to be driven on VILLAGE MAINTAINED ROADS.
