Sandbags Available
With all the Heavy Rain and Storms free sand and sandbags are available for the Village of Salem Lakes Residents.
The Sand is located on East Park Street near the tracks to the South of the former Silver Lake Fire Rescue Building.

There is no fee for the collection of any hazardous waste or e-waste material at the event. All Kenosha County residents are eligible to participate!

Use the east entrance off of Highway 50 (75th Street). Follow the directional signage to circle through the building.
The annual household hazardous waste collection event is sponsored by Waste Management, Kenosha County, and County Executive Samantha Kerkman. Click here for more information.
A resurfacing project on Highway W between the Illinois State Line and 113th Street in Wilmot will begin this Thursday, April 16, continuing through October. A soft closure of the work area will begin this Thursday, April 16, with a full closure to follow in early May. Local access will remain throughout the project.
